Plan B Affect Urination

Since we are in the 25 th anniversary of public school Margarita Xirgu, let's make a small and brief sketch of the figure of Margarita Xirgu , lest any of our students do not know the most basic of the biography of this woman.

This great actress was born in 1888 in Molins de Rei (Barcelona). Since childhood he felt great love for the theater, and with only eight he got his first applause, read a manifesto to a group of workers. He alternated his early work with little drama, until his professional debut in 1906.

In 1910 he formed his own company and represents " Salome" by Oscar Wilde , which gives him great popularity. In 1914 he moved to Madrid and interprets works of all the great playwrights of the time: Pérez Galdós, Benavente, Valle-Inclán , Bernard Shaw, Casona, etc. In 1927 begins collaboration with Garcia Lorca , which released all his works.

Simultaneous tours of Spain and the representations in the capital toured America in 1913, 1921, 1923 and 1936, which made a fourth voyage which never return to Spain, as it coincided with the beginning of the Civil War.

success in America is unstoppable, and after numerous tours set in Montevideo, where he became director of the National Comedy Uruguay. Continues to represent the ancient and modern classics, the great female characters to anyone as she knew how to give life ( Bernarda Alba, La Celestina ), and directs work of Lope de Vega , Shakespeare , Molière, Goldoni , Tirso de Molina , etc.

also made its appearance in the film world (in 1909 and played Guzmán el Bueno, and then the screen would work, etc. the film version of Blood Wedding of Lorca, 1938).

had a long career. All his works were marked by the same dramatic intensity with which he lived: he married twice, remained in exile abroad, was a passionate actress and theater director, made countless trips and tours, despite having a very sensitive child health . He also starred in a scandal, as when, in interpreting Salomé, he rescinded the contract to teach the navel (1910), or when he released " Misunderstanding "of Camus in Buenos Aires, which was banned by the Argentine authorities within three days of representation.

Margarita Xirgu, considered among the world's best actresses of the twentieth century, died in Montevideo , 1969, after surgery. In 1988, the centenary of the birth of the actress, his remains repatriated to their place of birth, Molins de Rei.

Knowing the carnival

seems from the comments we see scattered here and there in this blog, that college students expected this year with plenty of enthusiasm and some impatience the arrival of the carnival. It is good that half of the course we concede a few moments to relax, to enjoy with friends, with peers and teachers.

Originally the Carnival have a religious meaning: the need to thoroughly enjoy for a few days before it is time for repentance, the time begins with Ash Wednesday that opens the 40 days of the Lent Christian, a period of preparation for Easter . During this period you can not eat meat on Fridays, so the "Carnival" ("Italian carnevale ?) embodies the permission and, by extension, everything. The 40 days of Lent (actually 46, but Sundays are not counted) symbolize the 40 days of the flood, 40 years of the exodus of Jewish people through the desert, Moses spent 40 days in the mountains, 40 days of Jesus in the desert, etc.. That is, the difficulties that lie ahead.

The tradition of celebrating Carnival days before Lent has elements that survive pre-Christian traditions, especially the Saturnalia Roman and other Mediterranean Dionysiac festivals. Elsewhere have borrowed symbols from their respective regions (Andean, African, etc.). Over time, the carnival has been dissociating the religious element from the Christian who had s.IV, and has a mostly fun and festive way.

is in this context leisure holiday in which we operate schools as we celebrate the carnival. It is an activity which offers plenty of educational activities since it encompasses many areas: art, music, literary, and allows you to put in place mechanisms for coordination between different levels of a site. It also offers students the opportunity fun, dress up, enjoy their peers, out of the routine and alter for a few moments of academic life.

This year, the Margarita , com or some students have already pointed out in comments to other entries for Monday 23 slogan is that everyone carries some margarita , shape, color, size and material you want. On Tuesday 24 may come in costume and there will be dancing costumes, and Wednesday 25 will make the cloak of the puppet and burial of the sardine with priest father, mourners processions and other items. Bury her, burn-off any negativity, written in the scales of the sardine, and we will be regenerated to continue on with greater force. So be it.
