When school life puts us squarely in the third quarter, something that all students look forward to: the Cultural Week celebrations. Is a tradition at the school.
focus for a few days the whole school work on a topic. We treat you differently as they do for the rest of the year. The choice of topic is made by consensus and, once fixed the reason, various activities are designed to learn everything you can about the core, or close to it more fun and engaging.
sometimes not for weeks but days, two or three days. But what matters is the involvement of all the time involved. This type of work, besides serving to learn different things, promotes attitudes of coexistence, participation and collaboration very effectively.
Throughout the courses have been many weeks and days of culture, we already XVI issues, and the issues have been mixed: on the cinema, classic stories, music, transportation, the Age Media, on May 2, 1808, water, ancient civilizations, etc. This year, how could it be otherwise, our theme is Margarita Xirgu, its history and the school that bears its name. We have prepared especially activities related to theater, of course, and we can see that the students of 2 º A and B premiered a play that titled "The wolf on the bench," wrote author Carlos Reviejo -to which we are infinitely grateful, for them. The success is assured.
days are very busy, but it's nice to see children get excited about what they do, they enjoy and benefit. They are also days of closer contact with families, working together in everything we can, the atmosphere is more relaxed and there are open days.
